They have a good house beer on tap. Have drink and 1/2 price appetizers from 9-11p so that was a nice bonus. Good if you just want to hang out with some friends but I wouldn't take a date here or anything. Not a very upscale establishment but if you're looking for a good place to chill and drink - this is it.

I've been here a few times and each time i've left satisfied. It's a great place to meet up with a few friends for a few drinks at the end of the night or a late night meal (kitchen is open till one if I remember correctly). It's pretty low key enough where you can relax in an chill environment (at least when i've been there), the food is pretty good, and the service is great. Not a whole lot to say but don't let that fool you, it deserves it's 4 stars.

Our 1st time was our last time... nothing about this place would bring us back. There was 1 table with an older group of people having dinner and 2 single woman on opposite sides of the bar alone. The one sat right next to me and cheered on the Vikings which I found disturbing due to the fact that she could have sat anywhere... We were given the wrong beer by the bartender who didn't really want to be there... 1 drink was enough, no reason to return...

I will go to this bar just because it is close to my house. It's separated into a restaurant and bar, which is fine. I tend to saddle up to the bar only. I have met some interesting people there on the nights I go. Interesting in a good way. They have some nice specials. For example if you are there and the Wild are playing, you get a free drink (beer?) on the Wild's first score of the game. Parking has never been a problem and it's not too pricey of a place.

We went to the Friday night fish fry. It was one of the worst meals I've had. First the waitress had some kind of medical condition and wasn't able to take our order. She made mistakes on everything's we ordered. One of the other waitresses began helping her. Which helped slightly. The food was so horrible, the cole slaw was simply chopped cabbage you added your own dressing, I ordered German potato salad in place of French fries but got both. The potato salad was in a small bowl full of sauce and canned potatos. The fish was soggy and had NO flavor at all. At the end the waitress had EVERYONE'S bill completely mixed up, their were six of us. Needless to say it will be the last meal at this place.

Friendly and fun, food is fine. Bingo is a blast complete with Jell-O shots. Drink selection is good and the menu offers some authentic German options. The Ruben sandwich is delicious but the meat was a but chewy. Good spot to watch hockey or for typical bar food.

Great Restuarnt to bring your family too. The food is cooked fresh fast and taste great. There are plenty of TVs to watch the game on. Parking is never a problem and the lot has more than enough light to see your safely to your car.

There were two of us couples that stopped in on a Saturday mid afternoon. My fiance was dissapointed in their tap beer selections. Lots of light beer and no wheat beer. I was pleased they had a hard cider on tap which was quite good. We ordered two appetizers (onion rings and jalepeno poppers)and then our food. Me and another member of our party had the juicy lucy, another a plain burger and another the steak philly. The onion rings and the poppers were meh. I thought that for the price ($7) for a full order of onion rings (we each had two and they were small)it was a bit undersized. The poppers were the same as anywhere else just a bit overdone. The juicy lucy was not bad but could have used a bit more juicy. Pretty stingy on the stuffed cheese. The burger and philly steak were okay. What I found annoying was that fries were an upcharge and the serving of fries was insulting. We all got a very small handful except for my brother who only got chips. He pointed this out to the waitress who came back with a freaking basket of fries for him. WTH. I do have to say that the service was excellent. Our waitress was prompt, friendly and helpful. On the other hand our final tab was $100 plus for the four of us. That is one full order of rings, half order of poppers, 4 sandwiches, 4 beers and 4 shots. Will I go back? Doubtful.

Since Pat and Bob took the kitchen over, the food has become amazing. I really enjoy the new weekly specials as well, it keeps the place fresh. Also, the service is great, the bartenders keep a great eye on what is going on, and you never sit with an empty mug in front of you.

This place was good. I don't have a strong desire to go back, just because I didn't find anything extra special, but the reuben was good (the meat tasted a little like it had sat out for awhile) and my boyfriend liked the ribs. I felt it was slightly overpriced for the quality, but overall it's a good little neighborhood bar.

This is a pretty nice Bierstube. Not as smelly as the one in Oakdale, but it also doesn't have the dark, cozy, hole-in-the-wall feel either. The specials are good, and again, hats off to the accordian player that is very entertaining every so often on a Saturday. Again, food is good and prices are decent. Stay away from the Rueban Balls - not good.
